CLARE MARYAN GREEN

Clare Maryan Green uses traditional historical techniques to create her stained glass pieces. Each section of glass is hand cut and painted. The separate pieces are then slotted into strips of lead, which are then soldered together, a technique which dates back to the middle ages.

Clare has 30 years of experience in designing and making stained glass. As well as the smaller pieces we exhibit, she has worked extensively in the restoration of old windows, and has undertaken numerous commissions.
